My guilty pleasure is visiting the film locations of the movies, series and anime I’ve just watched.
A few years ago Crash Landing on You featured a scene by Lake Brienz in Iseltwald that set off a tourism boom big enough to make Swiss national TV. It overwhelmed the village so much that the authorities ended up capping entry and charging a fee.
This pack is the version of that I wish I had been handed: every Swiss filming location worth standing in, mapped, with the story attached.

Questions, answered
What is the Swiss Cinematic References Pointpack?
A curated set of map pins covering the Swiss locations where notable films, series and anime were shot. Every pin carries the coordinates, the production, the scene it appears in, the story behind it and practical notes on getting there.
Which kinds of productions are included?
Eight categories: James Bond, Hollywood, international, Bollywood, Swiss-Production, series, TV and animated. Everything from Goldfinger on the Furka Pass through to Tschugger in the Valais.
Were all of these scenes really filmed in Switzerland?
Most were. A few only reference it rather than being shot here. The pack flags those cases.
Can I visit every location?
Almost all of them. A few sit on private land, and a few need a cable car that only runs in season.
How do I use the pack?
It opens in the SwissDiscover map. Add any pin to a trip, and keep it open on your phone once you're out there.
What people did out there
I went up the Schilthorn purely because the pack told me Piz Gloria was Blofeld’s lair. Ate a 007 burger in the revolving restaurant with the whole Bernese Oberland turning past the window.
Marco B.Bern · visited the Schilthorn I study at HSG, so seeing Meet Me in St. Gallen was surreal. The old town streets I walk through every day, suddenly up on screen.
Reto G.University of St Gallen I found Bon Schuur Ticino through the pack itself, pins for a film I’d never heard of. We watched it that evening, now one of my favorite Swiss films.
